totally agree. I noticed, when i was a depressed adolescent (as most poets are) I was attracting some people to do negative things, while on stage reading my poetry. I then decided to be careful what I say, when reading it to young people (as I am now 25).
Our civilization is built on work. I have done a lot of work. I am still doing a lot of work. I have grown moderately old working like, well, a plough horse. I look forward to the same until I retire, or, more likely, die.
Rich people authored the industrial revolution creating an underclass of wage slaves that they have successfully maintained ever since. The majority of us live and die for them. This is how it is because we, the workers, don’t want trouble. We want to raise our families and have our homes and a few toys.
Yet this arrangement has depleted our resources and almost destroyed our environment. Perhaps we could discuss how to fix it.
